|
| MS-4800 Profiling Light Curtain Press Brake Guarding System with Stop at Mute |
|
The unique features of this system are Stop at Mute and
Piece Part Profiling
|
| This function is manually set by the operator and has
supervisory control. Once the mute point is set (not to exceed 0.25"
opening), the press brake will stop at this point every stroke. The
Stop-at-Mute is enabled or disabled via key selector switch. When enabled
the light curtain will mute and turn on the Mute Active Lamp at the mute
point and remain muted through the rest of the stroke. |
| This function is programmed at the top of the stroke. The
operator places the work piece correctly in the brake and presses the
profile button. The light curtain then masks out the part allowing the ram
to close as long as the profiled part remains in position. If the profiled
part is removed from the press brake or in the wrong position, the light
curtain will send a stop signal to the machine. The programmed masked
profile will remain until changed by the operator. If a different profile is
required for the next bend, the operator will place the next part in the
brake and press the profile button. If the same profile is to be repeated,
the operator simply places the work piece into the machine as on the
previous cycle. To return the light curtain to all beams active, the
operator will clear all beams and press the profile button. |
