Machine & Process Safeguarding Evaluation Specialist

Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Perform machine and process safeguarding compliance audits (machine guarding assessment/risk reduction reviews) to determine level of compliance with local, state, federal and corporate regulations and applicable consensus standards.
2. Knowledge of applicable safety standards (OSHA, ANSI, CSA, EN, etc.).
3. Preparation, delivery, and presentation of quotations to prospective customers.
4. Sell or assist in the sale of Omron STI products and services. 5. Create and deliver company capability and training presentations.
6. Create and edit plan view drawings for quotations from assessment worksheets in CAD and VISIO formats. (Not required but is a plus)
7. Have the ability to multi-task and manage priorities accordingly.
8. Be mechanically inclined and have the ability to understand mechanical principles.
9. Travel requirement will be approximately 50%.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Extensive knowledge of the relevant machine and process safeguarding standards
2. 2 years related experience in evaluating and specifying machine and process safeguarding schemes
3. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Visio Technical
4. MS Project 2000
