Hardware Engineer: New Product Development

Electrical engineer to work in our new product development team. Requires BSEE

Job Description:

Responsibilities

1. Understand core customer requirements for applications in our market space.
2. Specify and design electronics for embedded optical systems used in factory automation.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Demonstrated expertise in the development of electro-optical systems which utilize lasers, LED?s and photodiodes.
2. Solid understanding of analog and digital design fundamentals.
3. Experience in full cycle product development and design review, control and test methods.
4. Experience designing to regulatory standards (e.g. IEC, UL).
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Beneficial

1. FPGA design experience.
2. Familiarity with firmware design requirements for microprocessor-controlled systems.
