| Bliss Back-geared OBI Press |
In an automotive application, a
safeguarding system was required
for a Bliss back-geared OBI press.
The solution was to install a Omron STI Machine Services
control package, Omron STI safety light
curtains, and two mirrors.
The light curtains and mirrors
provide three-sided protection for
the front and sides of the machine.
The rear of the press is protected
during operation by a removable
guard outfitted with a safety
interlock switch.
