| This safety solution includes Omron STI light
curtains to guard the front of the machine
during the down stroke. A muting package in
the light curtain controller allows access to
the work area during the back stroke of the
ram, allowing for removal of parts and
preparation for the next cycle. Implementing
the muting package helps to maximize the
productivity of the machine. The throat of
the press brake is protected with swing-out
side guards in combination with safety
interlock switches to prevent access to the
work area during operation, without
inhibiting the die change process. |
